Did anyone read the Cirque Du Freak series and/or the Demonatta series by Darren Shan?? He's an amazing author, says JK herself. His book come with a recommendation from her. That was the only reason why I bought them and I happen to love the series, not as much as HP, but I like'em.

Hey you could just buy it in paperback it's not that expensive, but if you can read it without buying it , better.

I love those books, they are so good. Though the plot seems a little unrealistic, it's very entertaining.

I loved those books. Cirque Du Freak is so totally awesome. i've read quite a few of them but my mom thinks im going crazy and wont let me read then. she didnt even read to see if they were ok she just didnt like the title. so i never got to read the newer ones. and the library in my town just stinks. but yes i do think Darren Shan is the best. i always thought it was cool the mian character had his name.

The Cirque Du Freak series was great. Very unrealistic and not that well written, but still good nonetheless. Darren Shan sure knows how to drag people in - those books had me hooked.
