Does anyone konw how to back up my games on the COS PC game? My friend showed me how on her computer but my computer is diffrent from hers so it didn't work. I want to save them to a disk because last month when I got my computer reformatted it erased all my games. I don't want that to happen again. I have Windows XP Home Edition, Pentium 4 processer, and Microsoft Office if you need to know.

I wish I could help, but I have no idea. You know, I don't remember if it was with CoS or PoA but I saved the game at times while playing it. When I wanted to continue a couple days later, the saved game was gone. Really weird.

You can't save them on your hard disk and then on a new disk/cd or something?

When you installed the game, a folder was created for it right? There should be a map with the saved games in it. Now I'm not sure if the following will work, seeing as I'm a complete noob in this, but if you select the folder and right click on it, doesn't an option show up where you can copy the data to another file, like C: or F:. That sort of thing.

Have you tried a search on your computer?
I don't know how you folders are listed. For me it's going to either the EA games folder or the My documents folder...click on the Harry Potter ad the CoS folder in it. Then there a seperate folder called Save, which contains the save games.

Do you know where to find the folder for the game?
