I was a little apprehensive about this expensive online purchase, but I have to say this was an exquisite buy!
The packaging is the first thing that assures you of this special purchase. The book itself is fine craftsmanship. It's bound in thick textured faux leather. The detail of the silver decals are worth a second study; each have something relating to each story and a colored stone placed on them. The book also has a silver clasp holding it closed and a satin ribbon tucked in the pages. The package contains a folder of copied hand-drawn art done by JK Rowling, for you to do as you please (I might frame a couple, lol). The art from this folder is in relation to each story in the book. Each story is a short read (ranging from sweet to a little gastly) and each has amusing or informative excerpts from Dumbledore. There's a forward from JK Rowling and a thank you from the charity. I hope everyone who buys this version shares their thoughts on their purchase. -------------------- IKWT! I had one for Christmas from my hubby & although it's now upstairs waiting to be wrapped, I did open it to check that it was ok!!
 Well that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it!!  - it's very tactile & the detail is gorgeous & I love it.

I actually got mine from the people I babysit for it was really sweet and I really enjoyed reading the stories I really hope J.K carries on writing it would be a shame to see such talent go to waste.

Sadly the folder of art does not come with the UK edition.
 However, I may save up my money for a second-hand copy of TTOBTB because I love owning books as material possessions. I will most indefinitely treasure it!

My sister bought this one for me for christmas when it came out, the funny thing is, I usually know when something like this is coming out for harry potter, and I didnt find out about beedle the bard until it was actually on the shelves, so I went and bought a dozen copies to give to people with all the gifts I had already bought and sms'd my sister about its release, she pretended not to know anything about it, though of course she already knew, and she had already bought me the collectors edition for christmas....
