Last post in the old R&R was...

RAVE:: I just learnt I earned the second highest score in my carreer in college. Lost the first place to my best friend... kind of weird to loose to your best friend.... but I had such a rough time at college that I thought I would not even make a top ten finish... so this is the nicest surprise I could ever get I'm soooooo happy!!!

Congratulations! I love those kinds of surprises. You're so smart!

RANT: Haven't been here since FOREVER.

RAVE: I like being married.

RANT: Yet being married has changed my life so much so quickly that I've had a hard time going back to the things I've left behind...like hanging out with friends/writing/being here

RAVE: It's the weekend at 2:45 today since I don't have classes on Fridays. WooT!

RAVE: It's good to be back here...can't promise I'll stay around since when I do promise that, something happens...but I do want to stay around here for a while at the very least.

Rave - Countdown to ENGLAND/GERMANY in April. Didn't think I'd be going back to Europe 2 years after my first visit. Woo!

Rant - So, the Olympics in Vancouver (near where I live) have come and gone...and only NOW do we get snow! Well, just a little bit in some areas, but still! Mother Nature, you're silly.

RANT: it's been ages since I've been to the snitch. I just don't get on my computer when I get home anymore....my new Blackberry is my main source of internet these days.

RAVE: just ordered my tickets to go see Kings of Leon with W in September.

RAVE: bossman just put on the feeler to hire me two more employees - the two in mind used to be my bosses at my last job. Funny how that works out.

RAVE: spring is here. No more snow and ice!!!

RANT: tired all the time. Working crazy # of hours....

RAVE: we broke several records at work this week....quickly becoming one of the top centers in the company.

RANT: I just learned that my cat, Petit Roux, has passed away.

RAVE: On the positive side of the news, he was 21 years old at the very least and so had a long and nice life before to die of old and without pain. I'm going to miss the purrs and the cuddles though...

RANT: baby shower tomorrow afternoon and I need to go get the stuff to do the present with - and its after 10:30pm here.....gotta wait for kid sister to get home from work with my car so I can go to Walmart and hope they have the things that I need....if not, I guess I'll just have to buy something generic instead of making something, since the craft store won't open til late tomorrow...

RANT: Squeaky sitting....6 hours of Sesame Street, Yo Gabba Gabba, Dragontales, Fresh Beat Band, and Barney. I'm ready for my straight jacket fitting now, please.

Firstly, Happy Spring to Everyone. Hopefully everyone survived the
Winter and now the Spring is definately here. Well here are all of my Rants
and Raves from a while,
Rant, Long hours at the real Job, Its getting nutty, Need to find more time
for myself.
Rave, However the theatre is being quite generious. We have been getting
more hours and even some different shift hours. How Nice.
Rave, Had a very good Valentines Day.
Rave, Had a very nice Easter weekend. I did have to work Easter Saturday,
then was begged to work Easter Sunday Evening. Not really bad.
Rant The weekend before Easter was a real trip. On Saturday it was really
busy and the numbers were good, Then on Sunday Afternoon as I came
in we had a major power outage. We were without electricity from 1:20pm
till 5:30 pm and had quite a large ammount of Rain checks to hand out to
everyone for the inconvience. It wasn't our falt, CEI had a power arm break
and it disabled everything.
Rave, The new Extreme Digital theatre is now in operation. I had the chance
to watch the New Alice in Wonderland in that theatre. A very nice job but
there are still issues that need to be addressed.
Rave, Looking foreward to a nice Summer, And also looking for a nice
vacation in August when we'll go to Maryland and then in September
we'll go to Florida and visit Epcot and Harry Potters world at Hogwarts.
However there are other things to do also on the return trip.

RAVE TO EVERYONE ,Have a very safe and enjoyable April and May and
get ready for the Memorial Day Weekend.



RANE, to Wolf, So Sorry to read about the loss of the Big Kitty. So Sad to
read about something like that.

Sylvain, I'm so sad to hear about your kitty. Twenty-one is a good age, but it still hurts your heart.

So, what have you all been up to?

Rave: Our trip to Africa was amazing! There really are no words for how awe inspiring and incredible it was. I loved it. I took over 2000 pictures. I want to go back again.



Rant/Rave: I had my surgery on my bladder. I'm not sure that it did much good. I go from thinking it worked wonders to thinking it did nothing at all. And I'm still hurting a bit. They used those bloody dissolvable sutures that don't dissolve and just give me an abcess. I see my dr on Saturday, so we'll talk about it then.

Rant/Rave: My hours are being cut way back at work. I love working fewer hours, but man, after two trips, we could use the extra income.

Rave: Spring is here and the kids are out in the tent already!

RAVE: my best friend and her husband are starting up an online community for pet lovers - I know most of the snitchers have pets and love to show them off ----so here is a brand new site to do so on!

Rave: Back at the Snitch, MY HOME! The place that saw me grow up.... I look at the join date, it was christmas, I had just turned 18 and I was deeply in love with an impossible. Today, 6 years ago, I finished highschool and the 6 happiest months of my life I had spent them with the platonic love my life. We went different ways and I was an absolute wreck and the snitchers were the ones that helped me through the process.

Rave: Today, my platonic love and I are best friends, truly best friends, we kept in touch now and then the first years, stop seeing each other for a year and a half then went back to normal, but somehow in the last 8 months we really have become best friends, the ones that trust each other with everything. I still love him very much but after so many years I love him as family.

Rave: Like if that was not enough this 2010 has brought me closer to my two other best friends, really close, it's just incredible. I never thought I'd be this happy, I never thought I'd be this loved by my friends. Not in my best dreams did I imagine my life like this with my friends!! If only I could have a job my life would be perfect.

Wow. It's been something like...actual YEARS since I've been on the Snitch but I have had two Snitch-related things happen to me recently that made me think of this place.

Rave: I finally, after meeting her sometime around September-ish of 2003, based on my join-date, met Callie_828, who became one of my best friends, online or off, live and in person the weekend of my birthday. We spent three days together and it was pretty much fantastic and I am so blessed to have such an amazing friend and to have been able to meet that amazing friend finally. After over 6 years of IM conversations, emails, and LJ posts.

Rant: The stroller that you lovely Snitchers all went in on when I got pregnant with Eowyn has strolled it's last stroll. I accidentally ran it over with the car yesterday and broke a wheel off and it appears that repairing it is unlikely. Since my youngest daughter is now 2 and a half, she's getting kind of old for a stroller anyway, so... :-( Still, I am sad. As I said in my thank you when I first received the gift, every time I used it I thought of you all and even though we had more or less gone our separate ways, I still appreciate the love and thought that went into that gift. It's one of the most amazing outpourings of support I have ever received from my friends and I'm sad to say I probably won't get to use it again.

Wow. And maybe I'm feeling just a little nostalgic now, huh? :-p

Well Hello to everyone. Sorry about being so far out but the past few weeks
have just been crazy. However its so nice to read from marymcbeth and
anyone else who had posted. Well just some quick Rants and Raves from
earlier in the past weeks. Well so now here they are,
Rave, So nice to have some very nice working Hours 8am to 4pm. Very
nice indeed.
Rant, However I still have over Three Hours of Overtime on this check.
Our corporate office doesn't like that.
Rave, However check will help out nicely to pay a few more bills and then
get a few small items that are needed.
Rant, Still looking for main compressor for my house Central Air Conditioner
My High pressure switch went out and It could be a trip to replace it.
Rave, Had to spend over $400 dollars on the Auto. A new starter Key switch
and then New front Rotors and pads,Since I did need to stop buggy. That
really hurts.
Rave, Theatre has been really busy, However we've had a few Barkers and
it then made it slow, However the big office draws were, Iron Man 2 and
then Clash of the Titans. However a few of the others didn't do so well
and they have made the disapearing list.
Rave, We are now getting ready to start into the busy Summer Theatre
season and it looks like Maramduke the Dog could do very nicely.
Rave, Still planning on going to Florida for vacation in the late summer.
We are planning on traveling on Auto Train down and then driving back.
There are a few places we would like to stop at, maybe N.Carolina and
maybe a few other places as we return North.
Rave, Well the real job might be getting better, We are finally going to
be moving into the 21st century with new software programing with
Windows XP. How nice.
Rane, Still waiting to hear if the new Harry Potter World at Epcot has
finally opened. If it did we will be trying to stay there while we're in
Florida.
Rave, Its finally getting to the tempatures that I enjoy. The cold and
ice can stay away till after Thanksgiving.
Rave, Well all of the snitchers that I know personally are doing quite
well and everyone's doing fine. However may everyone have a very
safe and enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend,Or hopefully everyone
had a very enjoyable Canada Day Weekend.

Rave, May all the Secondary School students do very well on their
finals or GCSE's and that all of the Graduates be placed in their
picked fields and do very well.

Good Evening and a very Happy Month of June to everyone. Hopefully
everyone has been doing well and things are getting to be exciting for the
release of Hp 7a. Well now on to my Rants and Raves,
Rave, Very nice Memorial Day weekend. Did get a few items accomplished
but others still need to be completed.
Rave, The real job has become a real trip,The coporate office is trying to
cut hours and personel and it really stinks.
Rave, The Theatre, The fun job is even getting slow. Some of the hopefully
big blockbusters for June so far have been real duds. They even have cut
most of the ushers hours. However if they get slammed with people they
could call most in.
Rant, Just completed spending quite a large ammount of cash on the truck.
We needed a new starter switch and then to top that we then needed to
replace the rotors and brakes on the front end. However we have not even
looked at the real drums yet.
Rave, Had a very nice trip to Washington Pa,the same weekend as the
Tornado's hit both Northwestern Ohio and Eastern Ohio and a small one
that hit Sugarcreek, Ohio.
Rave, Getting ready for a small trip to Eastern New York to do some
Long deserved Railroad Photography.
Rave, Also finally assembled my outdoor Summer House. So nice and
its very dry on the inside that you could even sleep inside . Thats due to
the diligent work of my friend from NASA.
Rave, May Everyone have a very Safe and Enjoyable Vacation Season,
But Don't Forget, School returns in Three months.

Bethy- wow you got to meet up with Callie! That's so cool. And glad to have you drop by the snitch again after so long. That stroller sat in the middle of my kitchen for almost a week, so I will never forget it either!

RANT: my cat died tonight. Poor thing laid down to take a nap under the back tire of my sister's car when she got home from work. When she went out to go somewhere she accidently ran him over. Poor MooGooGaiPan, poor kid sister, and poor W and myself, as we had to dig a hole large enough for a 15 pound cat in 95 degree weather at 10:30pm.

RANT - So unbeliebaly bored at work lately. I just seem to have nothing to do all the time and it's starting to get on my nerves now. As nice as it is to be paid for doing nothing all day everyday it's a bit mind numbing.

RAVE - Got a week off work booked soon. Hopefully we'll be going away somewhere for a little holiday. I'm thinking camping somewhere that we can go wandering through the wilderness haha.

RAVE - Eclipse comes out soon. Got my tickets booked for July 3rd, woo!

Hey snitchers!

Reading through this post, I realise I'm not the only one returning after a long break.

This must be like the third or fourth time I've reappeared here. Well, this last year has been pure madness, and after I graduated on June 10 I've pretty much been lying in the sun, eating icecream and trying to make my pulse go back to normal (which it rarely did during the school year). But now I have some energy to do things, and I suddenly remembered my old favourite community. I'm glad it hasn't died down completely, as I was afraid it would have.

But as I've looked around in the forums, topics, signatures, quotes, pics... I've realised how much of the Harry Potter world I've forgotten about! Such as Snape's "Always." How could I let this happen? Anyway, my new summer project will definitely be to re-read the books once again (I'm so sorry that I lost track of how many times I've read them, but it's the 20-somethingth time for PoA at least...). I'm so excited! I myself have grown a lot during this year, so I wonder whether I'll see the books in a different way now.

On to my rants and raves (yay!):

Rave: My current job as a fancy dress constumes saleswoman is hilarious, if a little dull as there are fewer customers in the summer.

Rant: Major trouble with close friends. But I'm confident we'll sort it out.

Rave: I'm super excited over starting university this fall! I'll take single courses in subjects that interest me, such as literature, language and law (lol, unplanned allitteration there), and then next year I'm going to Australia for a year. Then, after that, I'll go for a degree.


Well, I'm not sure how active I'll be in the forums, as I'm busy with work and friends and everything else going on, but I'll definitely pop in every now and then. And hiya all, again!

Hello to all of the snitchers out there. Sorry its been so long but the summer has really
been different and everythings been going haywire, Well here are some of the Rants and
Raves that I've had,

Rave, Did have a very nice Fourth of July, Things were really nice,
Rave, Cousins Outdoor pool has been very relaxing, However the filter system
did run different and some of the Blonde's received a Greenish tint in their
hair.
Rave, Car passed emissions inspection. Did get Auto sticker for 2 years.
Rave, Assistant manager is returning to work on Monday.
Rant, My assistant manager did have a small heart Attack 3 weeks ago on
a Friday morning. This was a real scare for him.
Rant, Theatre manager is looking like Hagrid, She is awaiting the arrival of
the auditors. No idea on audit.
Rave, Had a nice mini vacation last week. Went to a 9 hour long digital
program on assorted subjects. Did bump into an old friend. Very nice
talking and picking up on the latest news.
Rave, The new Trailers are really fantastic. Saw one on Cable and the
other one in the Theatre.
Rave, Cable is getting everyone ready for the Deathly Hallows, They have
been running all of the previous Harry Potters Films.
Rave, Will be getting ready for the Real Vacation, Two weeks in Epcot
and a nice visit to the Harry Potter World.
Hopefully everyone has had a very enjoyable Summer Vacation. However
its almost time to return to the School Books.
Rave, I hopefully will be returning more during the Fall Season

Good Evening to everyone out in Snitch Land. Hopefully
everything is going very well and everyone is getting Ready for the Big Set of Final Events. Well here are my
Rants and Raves since the last time I had a few minutes to reply and drop in for a while.
Rant, My Assistant Manager at the real job has returned
and is doing well. Although he had to cut out some food
and other items.
Rant, Well it looks like it is finally going to happen.
Our Theatre is going to be 100 percent Digital by May 31
2011. This had come from 2 different company Sources.
Rant, That means, The projectionists will be leaving our
theatre, and that there will be only two IT tech's to
handle all of the problems.
Rave, It looks like the real vacation will be happening.
We will be riding Auto Train to Disneyworld and to
Universal and the Harry Potter World. Should be totally
fantastic.
Rave, My Buggy is doing very nicely, We had a new set of
Drivers Door Hinges attatched and everything is A Ok.
Rave, Residence is even looking better. We now have a
very nice Cover on my Mailbox and it matches my Hobby.
Rave, Hopefully we will get to see some of the resident
snithcers as we are on Vacation.
Rave, Not really looking foreward towards the winter
season. We will need to do a few major items before
the weather turns to Everyone Knows What.
Rave, May everyone have a very Safe and Enjoyable
remainder of the week and that you all have a very
beautiful fall season.

Good Evening or Good Day To all of the Snitchers out there
in the Harry Potter World. Well the time approaches very
quickly and the final part 1 is almost ready. So now here
are my Rants and Raves since October 4th,
Rave, Everything is going quite nicely, Did receive a nice
raise from the real job.
Rave, The Theatre is however is kind of slow right at the
moment. Not a very large ammount of good newer films are
on the screen, However RED, Alpha and the Omega, Annimated
film did quite nicely, However a few of them are real dogs
Rant, My Real boss on the real job has taken Two weeks of
vacation right when everything is really messed up.
Rave, Will be taking a little over two weeks of Vacation
and heading to the home of the Mouse and then to Epcot
and Universal and the Harry Potter Experience. Hopefully
might even meet a few of the snitchers while on Vacation.
Rane, Puppy will be getting puppy sitter for the vacation
time.
Rant, Still working on packing. Hot quite sure just how
many different items I will be taking.
BIG RAVE, Will be at the Kennedy Space center on Nov 1st
to witness a Space Shuttle Lunch. Should be quite an
experience.
Rave, Will everyone please pray for a crystal Clear Day
and a very safe and sucessful Launch.
Rave,Everything is ok in my life.

RAVE: new updated snitch forums.

RAVE: Fall. And with it - Halloween is a'coming!

RAVE: on vacation - in the mountains visiting with my mom and step dad for the week.

RANT: no idea what to do for Halloween - much come up with a costume which is hard when you are plus size to the extent that they do not make costumes over 22-24W. Poo. I made my costume last year but can't really get into the mood to do one this year. Was thinking of doing Mrs Potato Head since the boys are being Woody and Buzz....

RAVE: Mom will be off of work in a few more hours so we can go to town to run some errands - and maybe get halloween ideas....
