HEY EVERYONE!!! I just came back from watching New Moon (midnight showing) and yes it's 4 am but I had to hear from everyone that has seen it ASAP! LOL I'm going to give you my opinion so plz dont read on if you have NOT SEEN THE MOVIE. ;)

I can’t wait to hear everyone’s comments and opinions about the movie! SPOILER!!!.................

I would have to start by saying thank you to the director Chris Weitz! He did an awesome job with the graphics and staying to the story line! I have to say that the movie followed the book! There were scenes from the book that I did not except him to include but they did! Scenes that were added were perfectly fitted into the story line and really helped it! I personally feel that some of the extra scenes (like Bella slapping Paul and the fight between Edward and Felix) was needed to make New Moon more exciting and give the audience an understanding of how extreme the characters life’s are. I still can’t believe how much they followed the book!:( From starting the movie with her dream of her Grandmother (but it really being her) to actually showing the movie part where Bella, Mike and Jacob go to see a film (and etc!!!). I loved the way they did the months passing by! It was perfect! All of the fighting scenes were extreme…. The fight between Jacob and Paul… Felix and Edward! I just loved the way they did the wolves! Exactly how I imagined it… Also the way Bella found out what Jacob was had me on the edge of my seat! Also I have to add that all the emotional parts really had the tears flowing!

Now I have to say that the actors did a remarkable job! Dakota Fanning… bravo! The way she was able to capture Jane was sick! Perfect! Taylor Lautner… I know the ladies love him for his body (I know I love it! Lol) but his performance was spectacular! He was really able to obtain the struggle that Jacob Black was going through while hiding his feelings about Bella to trying to hold his temper though out the movie. He really made me cry and laugh when I had to! Ashley Greene as Alice is the perfect Alice! Michael Sheen… just to say he played an awesome werewolf in Underworld but he makes a remarkable vampire! He played Aro to the T! I can keep going all night so I’ll leave you guys by saying I loved the movie (as if you didn’t notice lol) and I want to give my praises to everyone (Especially to Chris Weitz) that made this movie! Spectacular!
"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" Harry interrupted again.
"So he can sneak up on people," said Ron. "Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking . . ."

I loved it too! Especially the cliffhanger :( Good thing all the books are out and we know the answer.

I loved what Chris did with the movie...but I have one complaint about the "circling" he did when Bella became catatonic, it gave me a bout of vertigo, lol. It was too much. I loved how he did the Victoria chase, and the wolf/vamp fights, awesome! Where Victoria had looked 'dirty' in the first movie, she looked together and stylized in this one. Laurant however, irked me BIG time because he changed his character's accent (it was cultured French in the first, weird Jamacian in this one). But I loved the emotion the director captured in the eyes of Jacob as a wolf. It made Bella able to see and know the difference in them all and it spoke volumes when Jacob had no 'voice'. Taylor stepped up his game and became the reluctant leading man. Though his body and beautiful smile helped a lot, hehehe!
I loved the creepiness the actors brought as the Volturi! Michael Sheen was super creepy, while Dakota Fanning was a super badass (did you not LOVE her sassy walk!).

I loved how they folded more of the Cullens in (epecially Alice, Jasper and Rosalie) where they hadn't in the first(and the traded barbs and bad jokes begin! LOL). More of Carlise's intelligent understanding. Alice's funny, pushy sweetness. Emmett's big bear, good humor and Esme's motherly heart. The fact that they hadn't mentioned Jasper's abilities in the first one had always irked me, lol. As usual the peripheral cast was excellent! The Mike guy was great. And Anna's character was funny and great, as usual.

I think everyone stepped up their game and made an excellent sequel, and I loved it. Can't wait until Eclispe on 30th of June (29th for midnight release).

I wish my review was as detailed as the two of yours, lol. I thought it was really good but kinda rushed. They should have stretched it out more, things were happening too fast. I like how they included the Cullens more, especially in the scene where they vote. And also, I liked the vampires' golden eyes a lot more in this film. In the first one, they looked too dark. I think I enjoyed the film a lot more than I thought I would.

Get out of my bathroom, you're really creepy
You're not a girl and you don't belong here
I don't understand you, stop speaking in tongue
Saw a pair of yellow eyes
And then I died.

I didn't want to go to the midnight showing because I figured there would be too many screaming people.
-.-
As it was, it felt like opening night.
Sold out, packed and parents brought their children.[I thought it was funny because they let their children skip school to see it!]

It was magnificent.

I hated that they didn't touch on the "time" passage more.
Also, the "dream sequence" Alice showed Aro....could have been done SO MUCH BETTER.
That was the only disappointing part.
She's supposed to be exquisite and instead just looked like a 30's farm girl.
The eyes and the "sparkly" affect on her was done very well, but the clothing was horrible on her.

All-in-all...I was amazed.
SO much better than the first.
This is my favorite book from the Saga and I believe they did it justice.
The parts I loved but thought they would leave out...they didn't!
I was so surprised.
They deviated from the book...but that's to be expected and they included all key pieces.
The end part...caught me completely off-guard.
I figured they would leave a cliff hanger of sorts...but I thought it would be a cliff hanger dealing with Jacob and Edward going for a fight. [that's what it looked like from the trailer]
But bringing across the "marriage" condition that way was brilliant!!!

I loved the CGI...the wolves were just plain awesome.
The subtle changes to the contacts were done well.
The Cullens looked more vampire like this time around which was exciting.
I was literally open-mouthed through most of the movie.

I think Kristen did a fantastic job as usual and Chris Weitz brought everything to life, just like I thought it should have been.
Taylor out-did himself as Jacob.
I even enjoyed the bike scene where Jacob strips.
"You cut your head, let me take my shirt off"
Robert was also great, although this wasn't "his" movie.
The rest of the cast performed amazingly and each one proved even further in this movie how well they were cast for their characters...especially Emmett.

It was witty, deep, lighthearted, enthralling, heart wrenching, passionate, dramatic, action packed and all around it was a good movie for ANYONE.
Even those who aren't into the Saga will surely enjoy this movie.

[[On another note...the Alice/Aro vision sequence was NOT from Bella's first hunt like everyone (including me) thought. I was thinking about it the other day and her eyes were amber. If it was from her first hunt...her eyes would be blood red. SO...after figuring that out...it made me feel a lot better. The first hunt scene from B.D is not ruined! Haha...I'm lame...I know]]
Time passes. Even when it seems impossible. Even when each tick of the second hand aches like the pulse of blood behind a bruise. It passes unevenly, in strange lurches and dragging lulls, but pass it does. Even for me.
