Aside from the standard Snitch rules, there are additional guidelines that all staff members must obey in their duties. These guidelines are posted here so that members can make sure they are being treated with all the respect they deserve and vice-versa for the moderators. If any of you [the members and other moderators] feel the selected few are not doing their job, please e-mail or PM [Private Message] and administrator and let the problem be known. From there, all things will be handled.
.: Administrators and moderators are to follow all member rules. Simply because they're staff members does not mean they are void from the basic rules. They must respect the forum members, but you also must respect staff.
.: We are not here to baby-sit. That's plain and simple. We are not going to sit here and argue with you if you've done something wrong. If you have been legally and fairly warned about anything and proceed to have a hissy-fit, we will not tolerate it. None of us want to take time out of our day for that.
.: Moderators are to give an explanation as to why they have performed a certain task. This means that if a thread is locked, a brief explanation must be given. It's all a respect thing. Nothing elaborate. Just something like this --
Excessive spamming. THREAD LOCKED.
.: Becoming a moderator... There is currently no demand for moderators on the Snitch. When a moderator is desired, a thread may [or may not] be posted in the "Announcements" forum. Check there frequently for the latest forum-wide updates.
