Hi Everyone!

I have been searching for a while for a really good HP forum. Most are too restrictive with their topics, i find. I just want a place to gush, discuss and debate about HP in general. I dont have many people in real life that love HP as much as i do so i need an outlet for my extreme obsession. I hope i meet some great people in the forum.

I am, what i call, a 'Born Again' HP fan, as i was not a fan from the beginning. But i am doing my best to catch up. A huge regret i have is not being there from the start; waiting for the books to be released, then the movies, debating what will happen etc. Those of you that were here from the beginning - i am so jealous of you. I wish i could have shared that experience.

My read name is Tara, I'm 31 (yep, same age as Ron and Harry - i share the same bday month as Ron). I live in Ontario, Canada. I am semi-retired. In my PT job i get to spend my time listening to HP audiobooks. So 4 hours a day i get to go to Hogwarts and hang out with Harry, Rona and Hermione - i feel so lucky i get to do this!

My Fav Book Order: HD, HBP, GOF, POA, OOTP, COS, PS. Deathly Hallows is my fav book of all time!
My Fav Movie Order: HD PT1, HD PT2, POA, OOTP, GOF, HBP, COS, PS (Although i love the character development in HPB and i love Slughorn's character, i give it a lower rating because i find it too long and i hate what they did to Ginny's character in the movie - ug!)

Favortie Chataters: Hermione, Dumbledore, Fred&George
Favorite Professors: Slughorn, Lockhart
Favorite Subjects: Charms, Potions

Favorite Ship: Ron & Hermione (there is no other!!) I ship them like its my job. Love reading steamy fan fiction.

I am a proud Slytherin. I love discussing House traits and sorting anyone and everyone into Houses.

I love the literary side of HP and have read many lit essays and books, my favourites: John Granger's books, The Seeker's Guide to HP, The Psychology of HP.

In July i will be going to Ascendio - an HP con in Orlando, Florida. I am so excited! I cant wait. I hope to meet some people who will also be going.

Welcome to the Snitch, Tara!

When you get to the HP convention maybe you'll get to visit Universal Studios and the World of arry Potter. I've had a few friends go and had the best time.

There are plenty of discussions and many, many talented fanfic authors and their stories to check out here. You'll be entertained to be sure! Have fun looking around the forums!
