[Phoenix Tears]

Hi There!
My name is Piper and I am so happy that I came across a site like this! I have been a HUGE fan of Harry Potter since I was in first grade (sometimes I would even come home with a "potion" for Professor Snape!). I am 12 years old, but I will be turning 13 in about a week or so. (September 1st) I really like Fred and Gorge Weasley because they are just so funny and so well written that I can really relate to them instead of it seeming like their just fictional characters (I was pretty sad when Jo killed off Fred in book 7...)
I was reading a book called Muggles and Magic from the local library, and I came across your site in the section marked: Top 10 Websites. I'm sort of worried about joining because I'm from Canada and many of the users on other sites are American or from Scotland or Europe... Is that okay? (Sorry if that sounded stupid, I tried joining at other sites and they said I had to bee American or Scottish to join...)
I really like writing and one of my friends has even published a book called The One He Left Behind which can be read at Kid Press I spend A LOT of my time writing Cat Warrior fan fiction, Batman fanfiction, and Harry Potter fanfiction! Anyways, my user name took a while to decide on. The finished name (Phoenix Tears) was inspired by Fawkes so I wanted to incorporate something special to the name to add more punch.

Wow, I had no idea that there were sites that were restrictive as the ones you described. That's horrible. We're all HP fans, aren't we?. . . Well, we have Snitchers from all over the world here (even a few from Canada :-P ). We've got discussions, fanfics and friendly people here, so have fun! And thanks for the intro.
