Ha, I've gotta say that a little thrill went through me when my e-mail address was (finally!) accepted.
The thought of being sorted into a house based on questions by the person who CREATED said houses is absolutely awesome and I am geeking out at the very thought of it! Also, I am not going to feel so sad after seeing the final movie. There's more Potter to be had!

I clicked and clicked and clicked and about 45mins after the submissions page went live, I was FINALLY accepted! LOL! Can't wait until July 31st to find out about the "early admissions".
At first I was disappointed that it seemed like an advert to by the e-reader versions of the book, but then JKR tempted me with the questions never answered before. So even if I never become part of the early admissons, October is going to be fun!

Where can we get more data about Pottermore? The front page itself dos not have much data apart from the video and a very nice decor.
In addition to being able to buy HP in e-book format, there's also an interactive website that JKR herself had a huge hand in designing.
By the sounds of it, you, the user, get to journey through "a series of illustrated environments, themed around 'moments' from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" with the other books to be added later. Yes, this includes getting a personalized trunk to hold your treasures, shop for supplies for your year at Hogwarts and, eventually, become a student at Hogwarts and sorted into a House!
It sounds very cool--I'm game! Read more about it here.

No, the start of the website offered early registration (which is 31st of July to 6th of Aug). Regular admittance is in October.
